Hello Gang, what’s Bangin’?

So for Your viewing pleasure tonight on FRYday, a look at the Dark Side of the 1800′s and early 1900′s with some Texts after this delightfully wicked movie about the High Society Salons in the UK and Europe then, some of which still exist like the infamous Blue Salon in Belgium among its Royals there.

The story line is about a Gay Salon of the Elites of the late 1800′s in Edwardian England under King Edward VII, and the infamous gay playwrite Oscar Wilde and the misadventures as his play “Salome” is shown there that ends in the death of a performer like a snuff film before the live audience right there in the Salon…

You might ask if things like that really happened among the Elites, and You need look no further than Rome in the height of its decadence at the Colosseum and people watching Gladiators fight to the death and/or Prisoners fighting to the death too;

then Christians and Dissidents being tortured by Gladiators and Prisoners under death threat to do it or DIE, then put to death by them or deliberately starved hungry animals like Dorothy sang about in MK Classic Wizard of Oz “lions, tigers, and bears… oh my…”

Death and Murder for Entertainment as the audience got off on it like kinky sex and then could determine life or death of people there; thumbs up to Live, or thumbs down to DIE…

It kind of reminds You of Cable=Cabal TV and Sports and the fanatic fans of the that shit like the Superbowl each year as it gets more nasty and violent and Sports figure Pros making millions $$$ and are acclaimed to be worshipped as Idols like the Gladiators in Rome were.

And violent action flicks and horror slasher flicks that post modern people can’t get enough of… demanding they be more grotesque and ugly in violence and bloodshed mingled with sex…

WTF is the difference between YOU and Rome, Amerika and UK and EU ???

You tell me… or better… look in a mirror at YOU and answer that Question.

[[posterous-content:pid___6]]

You know, when that Madonna halftime Show was on, tons of Alternative News units all parroted each other blaming Madonna and the Illuminati; they all said the same shit and went off on that pointing the finger at Madonna and her Masters in the Entertainment/Music Industry…

[[posterous-content:pid___11]]

I did NOT… I could decode what You heard and why in the music that had an entrancing effect no need for backward masking… but that’s for another time…

The point is that I wrote about it with videos to show WHAT Amerika had become to get off on that kind of Entertainment like depraved and decadent Romans who partied in such excess they had vomitoriums where people who got to wasted could puke and go back partying around the times of Tiberius, Caligula, Claudius, and Nero alone the last of the actual Caesar bloodline that ruled Rome in the 1st Century.

[[posterous-content:pid___12]]

I don’t point finger at Madonna but AMERICA for what it has become and put videos there of post modern music as evidence of a Nation collapsing from within like Rome did not external enemies that came later like the Huns on the Western Rome Empire with Attila the Hun…

[[posterous-content:pid___13]]

America, the UK and EU,  will collapse from within and there will be patient enemies who will swoop in like Rome got it… both West Roman Empire then later the collapse of the East Roman Empire…

[[posterous-content:pid___10]]

And now it’s Alternative News with its paranoia inducing Stars that offer NO Solutions to the CONspirA$$ie$ they expose for the Moola $$$ which to me is a perverse form of Entertainment as much as Cable=Cabal TV and tied to it like Genesis Network and Ted Anderson and his Star fat boyyy Jones who are tied to ABC showing up on mass media TV talking CONspirA$$y… And Ickey-poo has been a Star on SKY and BBC in the UK doing the same $hit all for Moola $$$=666… Hmm…

[[posterous-content:pid___9]]

Then all those very slick and polished clearly done by professional web-media CONspira$$y sites with fake name Moderators who cover WHO they really are playing Masquerade Games like Eyes Wide Shut yet say they are exposing CONspirA$$y like many I could name but YOU figure out who those lame assholes are… they ALL parrot each other and I wonder when the last time any of those SCUM had an Original Thought if ever.

[[posterous-content:pid___8]]

The fragrance of bullshit fills the air… better head to the vomitorium and puke thinking of all the pathetic shill SCUM out there.

Actually another Evidence of Nations Amerika and the UK corroding from within and collapsing from their own shit with Enemies outside the gate patiently waiting for it to collapse… and it will…. Like Rome East/West.

[[posterous-content:pid___14]]

This film by Ken Russell shows a real life incident of his play “Salome” about the infamous daughter of Herodias who did the Dance of the Seven Veils before her uncle Herod Antipas and demanded the head of John the Baptist for her wicked mother Herodias who was an adulteress who had been married to Herod’s brother Herod Phillip, but was shacking up with Herod Antipas instead…

Someday I will do a full article on the Herod Clan… I’ll leave it for later but Idumean meant Edomites descendants Royal of Esau the bother of Jacob who went Evil to the hilt and his descendants did also down through the ages ending with the Herods in infamy…

So here’s a text on Rock Stars… who are Idolized today like false gods and goddesses…

And for the 1800′s here’s Transcendental Magic by none other than Eliphas Levi who Crowley was VERY influenced by…

And here’s Aleister Crowley’s Book of Lies full of coded occult games and sick humor like #69, The Way to Succeed—And The Way to Suck Eggs…

And just for the hell of it… the UnHoly Books of the infamous Yezidis of Iraq around Mosul part of the Kurds whose god is the fallen Angel Satan the Peacock Angel called Melek Ta’as the androgynous hermaphrodite known as Baphomet that most people do NOT understand WHO and WHAT Satan really IS or looks like… look for upcoming article…

AL-JILWAH (THE REVELATION)

Before all creation this revelation was with Melek Ṭâ’ûs, who sent ‘Abd Ṭâ’ûs to this world that he might separate truth known to his particular people.

This was done, first of all, by means of oral tradition, and afterward by means of this book, Al-Jilwah, which the outsiders may neither read nor behold.

CHAPTER I

I was, am now, and shall have no end. I exercise dominion over all creatures and over the affairs of all who are under the protection of my image. I am ever present to help all who trust in me and call upon me in time of need. There is no place in the universe that knows not my presence. I participate in all the affairs which those who are without call evil because their nature is not such as they approve. Every age has its own manager, who directs affairs according to my decrees. This office is changeable from generation to generation, that the ruler of this world and his chiefs may discharge the duties of their respective offices every one in his own turn. I allow everyone to follow the dictates of his own nature, but he that opposes me will regret it sorely. No god has a right to interfere in my affairs, and I have made it an imperative rule that everyone shall refrain from worshiping all gods. All the books of those who are without are altered by them; and they have declined from them, although they were written by the prophets and the apostles. That there are interpolations is seen in the fact that each sect endeavors to prove that the others are wrong and to destroy their books. To me truth and falsehood are known. When temptation

p. 32

comes, I give my covenant to him that trusts in me. Moreover, I give counsel to the skilled directors, for I have appointed them for periods that are known to me. I remember necessary affairs and execute them in due time. I teach and guide those who follow my instruction. If anyone obey me and conform to my commandments, he shall have joy, delight, and goodness.

CHAPTER II

I requite the descendents of Adam, and reward them with various rewards that I alone know. Moreover, power and dominion over all that is on earth, both that which is above and that which is beneath, are in my hand. I do not allow friendly association with other people, nor do I deprive them that are my own and that obey me of anything that is good for them. I place my affairs in the hands of those whom I have tried and who are in accord with my desires. I appear in divers manners to those who are faithful and under my command. I give and take away; I enrich and impoverish; I cause both happiness and misery. I do all this in keeping with the characteristics of each epoch. And none has a right to interfere with my management of affairs. Those who oppose me I afflict with disease; but my own shall not die like the sons of Adam that are without. None shall live in this world longer than the time set by me; and if I so desire, I send a person a second or a third time into this world or into some other by the transmigration of souls.

CHAPTER III

I lead to the straight path without a revealed book; I direct aright my beloved and my chosen ones by unseen means. All my teachings are easily applicable to all times and all conditions. I punish in another world all who do contrary to my will. Now the sons of Adam do not know the state of things that is to come. For this reason they fall into many errors. The beasts of the earth, the birds of heaven, and the fish of the sea are all under the control of my hands. All treasures and hidden things are known to me; and as I desire, I take them from one and bestow them upon another. I reveal my wonders to those who seek them, and, in due time my miracles to those who receive them from me. But those who are without are my adversaries, hence they oppose me. Nor do they know that such a course is against their own interests, for might, wealth, and riches are in my hand, and I bestow them upon every worthy descendant of Adam. Thus the government of the worlds, the transition of generations, and the changes of their directors are determined by me from the beginning.

CHAPTER IV

I will not give my rights to other gods. I have allowed the creation of four substances, four times, and four comers; because they are necessary things for creatures. The books of Jews, Christians, and Moslems, as of those who are without, accept in a sense, i.e., so far as they agree with, and conform to, my statutes. Whatsoever is contrary to these they have altered; do not accept it. Three things are against me, and I hate three things. But those who keep my secrets shall receive the fulfilment of my promises. Those who suffer for my sake I will surely reward in one of the worlds. It is my desire that all my followers shall unite in a bond of unity, lest those who are without prevail against them. Now, then, all ye who have followed my commandments and my teachings, reject all the teachings and sayings of such as are without. I have not taught these teachings, nor do they proceed from me. Do not mention my name nor my attributes, lest ye regret it; for ye do not know what those who are without may do.

CHAPTER V

O ye that have believed in me, honor my symbol and my image, for they remind you of me. Observe my laws and statutes. Obey my servants and listen to whatever they may dictate to you of the hidden things. Receive that that is dictated, and do not carry it before those who are without, Jews, Christians, Moslems, and others; for they know not the nature of my teaching. Do not give them your books, lest they alter them without your knowledge. Learn by heart the greater part of them, lest they be altered.

Thus endeth the book of Al-Jilwah, which is followed by the book of Maṣḥaf Reš, i.e., the Black Book.

The Al Jilwah

The Kitab al-jilwah (referred to by many Satanists simply as the “Al-Jilwah”) is one of Satanism’s premiere religious books–the “Book of Revelation.”  The explanation for the existence of the Al-Jilwah is as follows.  Richard G. Badger wrote a book entitled Devil Worship wherein he asserts that he received a translation of an Arabic text from Daud as-Saig, apparently at that time a resident of Mosul, a city in northern Iraq “as a momento of our friendship.”  Daud as-Saig may have received the book from Mulla Haidar, a Yezidi whose family was responsible for reading and guarding the “sacred tradition of the sect.”  The Yezidis are a small group of homeless people, originally from the northern region of Iraq.  Richard G. Badger describes them as “a small and obscure religious sect, numbering about 200,000″ in the early 1900s.  He states that they are scattered across a 300 mile wide belt ranging from northern Syria to the Caucasus in southern Russia, with concentrations in northern central Kurdistan and northern Mesopotamia.  The Yezidis claim to have maintained the Satanic religious books and to possess the secrets of Satan.

The Al-Jilwah is a very short book.  It is purportedly written by Seih Adi, apparently the chief saint of the Yezidis, having been dictated by Satan himself.  This dictation occurred in the 12th century.  Although it purports to be the words of Satan (i.e., speaking through Seih Adi), there is certainly room for doubt.

A review of the book prompts many questions regarding the efficacy of the statements made in the book.  Many of the statements conflict with reality, other propositions of Satanism, and even statements within the book itself.  Some of the curious statements are considered below.  A thoughtful evaluation of the truthfulness of many of the statements made in the book should prompt any reader thereof to conclude that the statements are false.

Satan’s Origin. In the first sentence of Chapter 1 of the Al-Jilwah, Satan (referred to in the Al-Jilwah as Melek Ta`us) says that he “was”. The fact that he “was” is clearly a given unless he is trying to tell us that he always existed. So, if he always was, then how does that assertion reconcile with other assertions of Satan that he morphed from a man into an eternal, godlike being?  Further, how does such a statement reconcile with the Mashaf Res (the other premiere Yezidi Satanic religious book), which states that Satan was created by God?

Satan’s Duration. In the same sentence of Chapter 1 of the Al-Jilwah, Satan says that he “will be”. How come Satan has no end?  How did he learn to make himself eternal?  If, as other Satanic beliefs suggest, Satan created mankind, then why is he not sharing the truth of such eternality with us?  Why is he allowing us to die slow, painful deaths?  Why doesn’t he provide us with deliverance from death?  Did he create us just to watch us die?

Satan’s Asserted Dominion. In Chapter 1 of the Al-Jilwah, Satan says, “I exercise dominion over all creatures.” In Chapter 2, he says, “power and dominion over all that is on earth, both that which is above and that which is beneath, are in my hand.” If these statements are true, why is Satan despised by most of the world’s population?  Why is he not exercising his dominion in a manner that allows all mankind to see his power and glory for what it is.  Certainly, if he had such dominion, his kingdom would be the unquestionable supreme power on the planet, yet we see it nowhere.  Where is he?  Why does he not show himself?

Satan’s Help. In Chapter 1 of the Al-Jilwah, Satan says, “I am ever present to help all who trust in me and call upon me in time of need.” In Chapter 2, he says, “nor do I deprive them that are my own and that obey me of anything that is good for them,” and “I enrich and impoverish; I cause both happiness and misery.” In Chapter 3 he says, “might, wealth, and riches are in my hand, and I bestow them upon every worthy descendant of Adam.” If these statements are true, then why are the Yezidi, who are presumably the caretakers of Satan’s writings and his most ardent followers, hardly known? Why are they regularly assaulted by Muslims? Why do they not have their own powerful nation? Why do they not have wealth and fame? Why do they have little, if anything, in the way of possessions? Why aren’t misery and impoverishment the attributes of all those who oppose Satanism?  If Satan has all the riches, why isn’t he sharing them with his true and faithful followers.

Satan’s Guidance. In Chapter 1 of the Al-Jilwah, Satan says, “I allow everyone to follow the dictates of his own nature.” If Satan’s statement is true, then why, around the world, are men and women, who have pursued the dictates of their own natures, in prison precisely because they followed the dictates of their own natures?  How is imprisonment a reward for feasting on the allowance of Satan.  This statement seems particularly incoherent given Satan’s earlier statement that he exercises “dominion over all creatures.”  Certainly, if the one having dominion encourages his followers to pursue the dictates of their own natures, they should be rescued from the consequences thereof.  In many instances, the consequence is death.  Is death a reward?

Satan’s Threat. In Chapter 1 of the Al-Jilwah, Satan says, “he that opposes me will regret it sorely.” He further states “I have made it an imperative rule that everyone shall refrain from worshiping all gods.” In Chapter 2, he states, “Those who oppose me I afflict with disease.” If Satan’s statements are true, then why are religions such as Christianity, Judaism and Islam—all of which vehemently oppose Satan, growing and thriving? How are the diseases of Christians, Jews and Muslims any different from the diseases suffered by the Yezidi and the other followers of Satanism?

Wording of the Al-Jilwah. Ironically, many of the statements found in the Al-Jilwah appear to replicate statements from various books of the Bible—as if Satan concluded that statements made by Yahweh and Yeshua were worth repeating as Satan’s own statements.  If Yahweh and Yeshua are fictional characters, as some Satanists suggest, then how did they manage to make statements thousands of years before the Al-Jilwah was written? Why would Satan deem it appropriate to replicate such statements as his own?

Satan’s Promise of Life. In Chapter 2 of the Al-Jilwah, Satan says, “my own shall not die like the sons of Adam . . ..” If that’s true, where are the 1,000 year old Yezidis or any other followers of Satan? Where is the evidence of their longer life expectancies?  If the Yezidis and other Satanists don’t die, then shouldn’t they be around in thronging, growing masses?

Satan’s Book. In Chapter 3 of the Al-Jilwah, Satan says, “I lead to the straight path without a revealed book.” How does this statement reconcile with the fact that it is made in the revealed book, the Al-Jilwah, the “Book of Revelation”? This is an example of an internal incoherent statement.

Satan’s knowledge of Hidden Wealth. In Chapter 3 of the Al-Jilwah, Satan says, “All treasures and hidden things are known to me; and as I desire, I take them from one and bestow them upon another.” If that’s true, then why doesn’t Satan take the wealth of this world and give it to his followers—principally the poor Yezidi?  Again, where are the wealthy Satanists?  Why are key discoveries made by Jewish people and Christians?  Why would Satan reveal such secrets to his enemies and not to his faithful followers?

Satan’s Adversaries. In Chapter 3 of the Al-Jilwah, Satan says, “those who are without are my adversaries.” How, if as he says in Chapter 1 he exercises “dominion over all creatures,” does he have any adversaries? How can anyone oppose the one who has ultimate dominion?

Satan’s Claim of Power Over Governments. In Chapter 3 of the Al-Jilwah, Satan says, “the government of the worlds, the transition of generations, and the changes of their directors are determined by me from the beginning.” If that’s true, why aren’t all governments worshiping Satan? In fact, how could he allow the founders of the U. S. to include so many references to God, including allowing our coinage and bills to say “in God we trust”?  How does one who has dominion over all creatures allow this to happen?

The Hollow Promise. In Chapter 4 of the Al-Jilwah, Satan says, “Those who keep my secrets shall receive the fulfilment of my promises.” The problem here is this: what are the secrets and what are the promises? If something is a secret, how can it be known if anyone has ever known or kept it?

Satan’s Desire for Group Power. In Chapter 4 of the Al-Jilwah, Satan says, “It is my desire that all my followers shall unite in a bond of unity, lest those who are without [i.e., his adversaries] prevail against them.” How can these concerns of persecution be reconciled with his statement in Chapter 1 that he exercises “dominion over all creatures”? Can’t he stop the persecutors—as he said in Chapter 1, “he that opposes me will regret it sorely.”

Satan’s Desire for Secrecy. In Chapter 5 of the Al-Jilwah, Satan says, “Receive that that is dictated, and do not carry it before those who are without, Jews, Christians, Moslems, and others.” He further cautions, “Do not give them your books.” In Chapter 4, he further warns, “Do not mention my name nor my attributes, lest ye regret it; for ye do not know what those who are without may do.” Satan’s followers, the Yezidis, his chosen people, have obviously betrayed his instruction here, because the Al-Jilwah is now widely available on the Internet.  Why did they relinquish their trust in the early 1900s?  Perhaps more importantly, why would Satan want his word to be a secret? Shouldn’t he rather want the whole world to read it and be amazed and moved by it to obedience to him? Is he fearful that someone might read it and contest the validity of it?

MASHAF REŠ (THE BLACK BOOK)

In the beginning God created the White Pearl out of his most precious essence. He also created a bird named Angar. He placed the White Pearl on the back of the bird, and dwelt on it for forty thousand years. On the first day, Sunday, God created Melek Anzazîl, and he is Ṭâ’ûs-Melek, the chief of all, On Monday he created Melek Dardâel, and he is Šeiḫ Ḥasan. Tuesday he created Melek Israfel, and he is Šeiḫ

p. 37

[paragraph continues] Šams (ad-Dîn). Wednesday he created Melek Miḫâel, and he is Šeiḫ Abû Bakr. Thursday he created Melek Azrâel, and he is Sajad-ad-Dîn. Friday he created Melek Šemnâel, and he is Naṣir-ad-Dîn. Saturday he created Melek Nurâel, and he is Yadin (Faḫr-ad-Dîn). And he made Melek Ṭâ’ûs ruler over all. 8

After this God made the form of the seven heavens, the earth, the sun, and the moon. But Faḫr-ad-Dîn created man and the animals, and birds and beasts. He put them all in pockets of cloth, and came out of the Pearl accompanied by the Angels. Then he shouted at the Pearl with a loud voice. Thereupon the White Pearl broke up into four pieces, and from its midst came out the water which became an ocean. The world was round, and was not divided. Then he created Gabriel and the image of the bird. He sent Gabriel to set the four corners. He also made a vessel and descended in it for thirty thousand years. After this he came and dwelt in Mount Lališ. Then he cried out at the world, and the sea became solidified and the land appeared, but it began to shake. At this time he commanded Gabriel to bring two pieces of the White Pearl; one he placed beneath the earth, the other stayed at the gate of heaven. He then placed in them the sun and the moon; and from the scattered pieces of the White Pearl he created the stars which he hung in heaven as ornaments. He also created fruit-bearing trees and plants and mountains for ornaments to the earth. He created the throne over the carpet. 9 Then the Great God said: “O Angels, I will

p. 38

create Adam and Eve; and from the essence of Adam shall proceed Šehar bn Jebr, and of him a separate community shall appear upon the earth, that of Azazîl, i.e., that of Melek Ṭâ’ûs, which is the sect of the Yezidis. Then he sent Šeiḫ ‘Adî bn Musâfir from the land of Syria, and he came (and dwelt in Mount) Lališ. Then the Lord came down to the Black Mountain. Shouting, he created thirty thousand Meleks, and divided them into three divisions. They worshiped him for forty thousand years, when he delivered them to Melek Ṭâ’ûs who went up with them to heaven. At this time the Lord came down to the Holy Land (al-Ḳuds), and commanded Gabriel to bring earth from the four comers of the world, earth, air, fire, and water. He created it and put in it the spirit of his own power, and called it Adam.

Then he commanded Gabriel to escort Adam into Paradise, and to tell him that he could eat from all the trees but not of wheat. 10 Here Adam remained for a hundred years. Thereupon, Melek Ṭâ’ûs asked God how Adam could multiply and have descendants if he were forbidden to eat of the grain. God answered, “I have put the whole matter into thy hands.” Thereupon Melek Ṭâ’ûs visited Adam and said “Have you eaten of the grain?” He answered, “No, God forbade me.” Melek Ṭâ’ûs replied and said, “Eat of the grain and all shall go better with thee.” Then Adam ate of the grain and immediately his belly was inflated. But Melek Ṭâ’ûs drove him out of the garden, and leaving him, ascended into heaven. Now

p. 39

[paragraph continues] Adam was troubled because his belly was inflated, for he had no outlet. God therefore sent a bird to him which pecked at his anus and made an outlet, and Adam was relieved.

Now Gabriel was away from Adam for a hundred years. And Adam was sad and weeping. Then God commanded Gabriel to create Eve from under the left shoulder of Adam., Now it came to pass, after the creation of Eve and of all the animals, that Adam and Eve quarreled over the question whether the human race should be descended from him or her, for each wished to be the sole begetter of the race. This quarrel originated in their observation of the fact that among animals both the male and the female were factors in the production of their respective species. After a long discussion Adam and Eve agreed on this: each should cast his seed into a jar, close it, and seal it with his own seal, and wait for nine months. When they opened the jars at the completion of this period, they found in Adam’s jar two children, male and female. Now from these two our sect, the Yezidis, are descended. In Eve’s jar they found naught but rotten worms emitting a foul odor. And God caused nipples to grow for Adam that he might suckle the children that proceeded from his jar. This is the reason why man has nipples.

After this Adam knew Eve, and she bore two children, male and female; and from these the Jews, the Christians, the Moslems, and other nations and sects are descended. But our first fathers are Šeth, Noah,

p. 40

and Enosh, the righteous ones, who were descended from Adam only.

It came to pass that trouble arose between a man and his wife, resulting from the denial on the part of the woman that the man was her husband. The man persisted in his claim that she was his wife. The trouble between the two was settled, however, through one of the righteous men of our sect, who decreed that at every wedding a drum and a pipe should be played as a testimony to the fact that, such a man and such a woman were married legally.

Then Melek Ṭâ’ûs came down to earth for our sect (i.e., the Yezidis), the created ones, and appointed kings for us, besides the kings of ancient Assyria, Nisroch, who is Našir-ad-Dîn; Kamush, who is Melek Fahr-ad-Dîn, and Artâmîs, who is Melek Šams-(ad-)Dîn. After this we had two kings, Šabur (Sapor) First (224-272 A. D.) and Second (309-379), who reigned one hundred and fifty years; and our amirs down to the present day have been descended from their seed. But we hated four kings.

Before Christ came into this world our religion was paganism. King Ahab was from among us. And the god of Ahab was called Beelzebub. Nowadays we call him Pir Bub. We had a king in Babylon, whose name was Baḫtnasar; another in Persia, whose name was Aḥšuraš; and still another in Constantinople, whose name was Agriḳâlus. The Jews, the Christians, the Moslems, and even the Persians, fought us; but they failed to subdue us, for in the strength of the Lord

p. 41

we prevailed against them. He teaches us the first and last science. And one of his teachings is:

Before heaven and earth existed, God was on the sea, as we formerly wrote you. He made himself a vessel and traveled in it in kunsiniyat 11 of the seas, thus enjoying himself in himself. He then created the White Pearl and ruled over it for forty years. Afterward, growing angry at the Pearl, he kicked it; and it was a great surprise to see the mountains formed out of its cry; the hills out of its wonders; the heavens out of its smoke. Then God ascended to heaven, solidified it, established it without pillars. He then spat upon the ground, and taking a pen in hand, began to write a narrative of all the creation.

In the beginning he created six gods from himself and from his light, and their creation was as one lights a light from another light. And God said, “Now I have created the heavens; let some one of you go up and create something therein.” Thereupon the second god ascended and created the sun; the third, the moon; the fourth, the vault of heaven; the fifth, the farġ (i.e., the morning star); the sixth, paradise; the seventh, hell. We have already told you that after this they created Adam and Eve.

And know that besides the flood of Noah, there was another flood in this world. Now our sect, the Yezidis, are descended from Na‘umi, an honored person, king of peace. We call him Melek Miran. The other sects are descended from Ham, who despised his father. The ship rested at a village called ‘Ain Sifni, 12 distant

p. 42

from Mosul about five parasangs. The cause of the first flood was the mockery of those who were without, Jews, Christians, Moslems, and others descended from Adam and Eve. We, on the other hand, are descended from Adam only, as already indicated: This second flood came upon our sect, the Yezidis. As the water rose and the ship floated, it came above Mount Sinjar, 13 where it ran aground and was pierced by a rock. The serpent twisted itself like a cake and stopped the hole. Then the ship moved on and rested on Mount Judie.

Now the species of the serpent increased, and began to bite man and animal. It was finally caught and burned, and from its ashes fleas were created. From the time of the flood until now are seven thousand years. In every thousand years one of the seven gods descends to establish rules, statutes, and laws, after which he returns to his abode. While below, he sojourns with us, for we have every kind of holy places. This last time the god dwelt among us longer than any of the other gods who came before him. He confirmed the saints. He spoke in the Kurdish language. He also illuminated Mohammed, the prophet of the Ishmaelites, who had a servant named Mu‘âwiya, When God saw that Mohammed was not upright before him, he afflicted him with a headache. The prophet then asked his servant to shave his head, for Mu‘âwiya knew how to shave. He shaved his master in haste, and with some difficulty. As a result, he cut his head and made it bleed. Fearing that the blood might drop

p. 43

to the ground, Mu‘âwiya licked it with his tongue. Whereupon Mohammed asked, “What are you doing, Mu‘âwiya?” He replied, “I licked thy blood with my tongue, for I feared that it might drop to the ground.” Then Mohammed said to him, “You have sinned, O Mu‘âwiya, you shall draw a nation after you. You shall oppose my sect.” Mu‘âwiya answered and said, “Then I will not enter the world; I will not marry!’

It came to pass that after some time God sent scorpions upon Mu‘âwiya, which bit him, causing his face to break out with poison. Physicians urged him to marry lest he die. Hearing this, he consented. They brought him an old woman, eighty years of age. in order that no child might be born. Mu‘âwiya knew his wife, and in the morning she appeared a woman of twenty-five, by the power of the great God. And she conceived and bore our god Yezid. But the foreign sects, ignorant of this fact, say that our god came from heaven, despised and driven out by the great God. For this reason they blaspheme him. In this they have erred. But we, the Yezidi sect, believe this not, for we know that he is one of the above-mentioned seven gods. We know the form of his person and his image. It is the form of a cock which we possess. None of us is allowed to utter his name, nor anything that resembles it, such as šeitân (Satan), ḳaitân (cord), šar (evil), šat (river), and the like. Nor do we pronounce mal‘ûn (accursed), or la‘anat (curse), or na‘al 14 (horseshoe), or any word that has a similar sound. All these are forbidden us out of respect

p. 44

for him. So ḫass (lettuce) is debarred. We do not eat it,. for it sounds like the name of our prophetess Ḫassiah. Fish is prohibited, in honor of Jonah the prophet. Likewise deer, for deer are the sheep of one of our prophets. The peacock is forbidden to our Šeiḫ and his disciples, for the sake of our Ṭâ’ûs. Squash also is debarred. It is forbidden to pass water while standing, or to dress up while sitting down, or to go to the toilet room, or to take a bath according to the custom of the people. 15 Whosoever does contrary to this is an infidel. Now the other sects, Jews, Christians, Moslems, and others, know not these things, because they dislike Melek Ṭâ’ûs. He, therefore, does not teach them, nor does he visit them. But he dwelt among us; he delivered to us the doctrines, the rules, and the traditions, all of which have become an inheritance, handed down from father to son. After this, Melek Ṭâ’ûs returned to heaven.

One of the seven gods made the sanjaḳs 16 (standards) and gave them to Solomon the wise. After his death our kings received them. And when our god, the barbarian Yezîd, was born, he received these sanjaḳs with great reverence, and bestowed them upon our sect. Moreover, he composed two songs in the Kurdish language to be sung before the sanjaḳas in this language, which is the most ancient and acceptable one. The meaning of the song is this:

Hallelujah to the jealous God.

p. 45

[paragraph continues] As they sing it, they march before the sanjaḳs with timbrels and pipes. These sanjaḳs remain with our emir, who sits on the throne of Yezid. When these are sent away, the ḳawwâls assemble with the emir, and the great general, the šeiḫ, who is the representative of Šeiḫ Nasir-ad-Dîn, i.e., Nisroch, god of the ancient Assyrians. 17 They visit the sanjaḳs. Then they send each sanjaḳ in care of a ḳawwâl to its own place; one to Ḥalataneye, one to Aleppo, one to Russia, and one to Sinjar. These sanjaḳs are given to four ḳawwâls by contract. Before they are sent, the; are brought to Šeiḫ ‘Adî’s tomb, where they are baptized amid great singing and dancing. After this each of the contractors takes a load of dust from Šeiḫ ‘Adî’s -tomb. He fashions it into small balls, each about the size of a gall nut, and carries them along with the sanjaḳs to give them away as blessings. When he approaches a town, he sends. a crier before him to prepare the people to accept the ḳawwâl and his sanjaḳ with respect and honor. All turn out in fine clothes, carrying incense. The women shout, and all together sing joyful songs. The ḳawwâl is entertained by the people with whom he stops. The rest give him silver presents, everyone according to his means.

Besides these four sanjaḳs, there are three others, seven in all. These three are kept in a sacred place for purposes of healing. Two of them, however, remain with Šeiḫ ‘Adî, and the third remains in the village of Baḥazanie, which is distant from Mosul about four hours. Every four months these ḳawwâls

p. 46

travel about. One of them must travel in the province of the emir. They travel in a fixed order, differing each year. Every time he goes out, the traveler must cleanse himself with water made sour with summaḳ (sumac) and anoint himself with an oil. He must also light a lamp at each idol that has a chamber. This is the law that pertains to the sanjaḳs.

The first day of our new year is called the Serṣâlie, i.e., the beginning of a year. It falls on the Wednesday of the first week in April 18. On that day there must be meat in every family. The wealthy must slaughter a lamb or an ox; the poor must kill a chicken or something else. These should be cooked on the night, the morning of which is Wednesday, New Year’s day. With the break of day the food should be blessed. On the first day of the year alms should be given at tombs where the souls of the dead lie.

Now the girls, large and small, are to gather from the fields flowers of every kind that have a reddish color. They are to make them into bundles, and, after keeping them three days, they are to hang them on the doors 19 as a sign of the baptism of the people living in the houses. In the morning all doors will be seen well decorated with red lilies. But women are to feed the poor and needy who pass by and have no food; this is to be done at the graves. But as to the ḳawwâls, they are to go around the tombs with timbrels, singing in the Kurdish language. For so doing they are entitled to money. On the above-mentioned day of Serṣâlie no instruments of joy are to be played, because

p. 47

[paragraph continues] God is sitting on the throne (arranging decrees for the year), 20 and commanding all the wise and the neighbors to come to him, And when he tells them that he will come down to earth with song and praise, all arise and rejoice before him and throw upon each the squash of the feast. Then God seals them with his own seal. And the great God gives a sealed decision to the god who is to come down. He, moreover, grants him power to do all things according to his own will. God prefers doing good and charity to fasting and praying. The worship of any idol, such as Seyed-ad-Dîn or Šeiḫ Šams is better than fasting. Some layman is to give a banquet to a kôchak after the fasting of the latter forty days, whether it be in summer or in winter. If he (the kôchak) says this entertainment is an alms given to the sanjaḳ, then he is not released from his fasting. When it comes to pass that the yearly tithe-gatherer finds that the people have not fully paid their tithes, he whips them till they become sick, and some even die. The people are to give the kôchaks money to fight the Roman army, and thus save the sect (Yezidis) from the wrath of the man of the year.

Every Friday a load of gifts is to be brought as an offering to an idol. At that time, a servant is to call the people aloud from the roof of a kôchak’s house, saying, it is the call of the prophet to a feast. All are to listen reverently and respectfully; and, on hearing it, every one is to kiss the ground and the stone on which he happens to lean.

p. 48

It is our law that no ḳawwâl shall pass a razor over his face. Our law regarding marriage is that at the time of the wedding a loaf of bread shall be taken from the house of a kôchak and be divided between the bride and the bridegroom, each to cat one-half. They may, however, eat some dust from Šeiḫ ‘Adî’s tomb instead of the bread for a blessing. Marriage in the month of April is forbidden, for it is the first month of the year. This rule, however, does not apply to ḳawwâls; they may marry during this month. No layman is allowed to marry a kôchak’s daughter. Everyone is to take a wife from his own class. But our emir may have for a wife any one whom he pleases to love. A layman may marry between the ages of ten and eighty; he may take for a wife one woman after another for a period of one year. On her way to the house of the bridegroom, a bride must visit the shrine of every idol she may happen to pass; even if she pass a Christian church, she must do the same. On her arrival at the bridegroom’s house, he must hit her with a small stone in token of the fact that she must be under his authority. Moreover, a loaf of bread must be broken over her head as a sip to her that she must love the poor and needy. No Yezidi may sleep with his wife on the night the morning of which is Wednesday, and the night the morning of which is Friday. Whosoever does contrary to this commandment is an infidel. If a man steal the wife of his neighbor, or his own former wife, or her sister or mother, he is not obliged to give her dowry, for

p. 49

she is the booty of his hand. Daughters may not inherit their father’s wealth. A young lady may be sold as an acre of land is sold. If she refuses to be married, then she must redeem herself by paying her father a sum of money earned by her service and the labor of her hand.

Here ends Kitâb Reš, which is followed by several stories, some of which are told secretly, some openly.

The Mashaf Res

The Mashaf Res (also known as “The Black Book”) is purported to be another secret religious Yezidi book of Satanism.  As with the Al Jilwah, a review of the Mashaf Res prompts many questions regarding the efficacy of the statements made in the book.  Many of the statements conflict with reality, other propositions of Satanism, and even statements within the book itself.  Some of the curious statements are considered below.  As is the case with the Al Jilwah, a thoughtful evaluation of the truthfulness of many of the statements made in the Mashaf Res  should prompt any reader thereof to conclude that the statements are false.

Satan Was Created by God. In the opening paragraph of the Mashaf Res, we are informed that “God . . . created Melek Anzazil, and he is Taus-Melek.” From the Satanist perspective, this statement is curious on many levels.  First, if Satan was created, then he is not God as many Satanists believe.  Second, if Satan was created by God, then God exists—a proposition disputed by many Satanists.  Finally, if Satan was created by God, then Satan must necessarily be less than God.  Of course, if Satan is less than God, then, assuming that God wants the be the exclusive object of man’s worship, perhaps it would be advisable to worship God rather than Satan.

Adam and Eating. The Mashaf Res indicates that God “commanded Gabriel to escort Adam into Paradise, and to tell him that he could eat from all the trees but not of wheat.”  Later, when Melek Taus advises Adam to eat the wheat, Adam’s “belly was inflated . . . for he had no outlet.”  To remedy this sad situation for Adam, God “sent a bird to him which pecked at his anus and made and outlet, and Adam was relieved.”  Not only is this account bizarre, but it is inherently inconsistent.  Why would Adam have the ability to eat from all the trees, apparently with all of the mechanisms necessary for digestion and excretion, but suddenly and unexplainably lose at least one of these mechanisms when he eats the wheat?  This account simply doesn’t square with our understanding of the mechanics of the human body.

Adam’s Descendants. The Mashaf Res indicates that Adam and Eve quarreled over of the issue of who, as between them, was truly responsible for the propagation of humanity.  They decided to settle the matter in the following manner: “each should cast his seed into a jar, close it, and seal it with his own seal, and wait for nine months.”  At the end of nine months, Adam’s jar had “two children, male and female.”  The Mashaf Res further indicates that the Yezidis are descended from these two children.  Then “God caused nipples to grow for Adam that he might suckle the children that proceeded from his jar.”  Here again, the account is bizarre and is grossly inconsistent with our reality.  First, how exactly does Eve obtain her seed?  Second, where did the jars come from?  Third, how did children develop from Adam’s seed alone?  Fourth, how did the children grow and survive outside of a womb?  What was their source of nutrients, oxygen, warmth, etc.?  Finally, how did a man truly suckle children?  Does a man have the capability of doing so?  This account simply doesn’t square with our understanding of the mechanics of human origination and development.

Pre-Christ Religion. The Mashaf Res indicates, apparently from the Yezidi perspective, that “[b]efore Christ came into this world, our religion was paganism.”  Supposing that the statement is true, the question becomes “Then what was your religion after Christ came into this world?  Did the arrival of Christ change your religion?”  One would think that the Yezidi, being the chosen people of Satan, would be Satanists as opposed to paganists.

King Ahab. Oddly, the Mashaf Res indicates that “King Ahab was from among us.”  King Ahab, however, was a king of Israel.  How did a king of Israel come from the Yezidis?

Strength of the Lord. The Mashaf Res indicates that the “Jews, the Christians, the Moslems, and even the Persians, fought us; but they failed to subdue us, for in the strength of the Lord we prevailed against them.”  Who is “the Lord” here?  Is it Yahweh?  Why would the Yezidis rely on Yahweh? Certainly, the term “Lord” is not referring to Satan, who is otherwise referenced repeatedly by his name “Melek Taus” throughout the Mashaf Res.

The White Pearl. The Mashaf Res indicates initially that God lived on the White Pearl for 40,000 years.  Later, it indicates that God ruled over the White Pearl for 40 years.  Initially, the Mashaf Res states that the heavens were formed following the 40,000 year period.  Later, it indicates that the heavens were made after the 40 year period out of the smoke that came from the White Pearl when God kicked it.  Thus, there is a marked lack of clarity in this very short book as to the truth of the account of the creation of the heavens.

The Earth, Moon and Stars.  Initially, the Mashaf Res indicates that God created “the earth, the sun, and the moon.”  It then details that one of the angels created man and all of earth’s creatures.  Later, however, the Mashaf Res indicates that God created sub-gods, and they created the sun, the moon, the “vault of heaven,” the morning star, paradise and hell.”  Thus, again, the book contains discrepancies in its account of creation.

Adam. The Mashaf Res initially indicates that God created Adam out of earth, using “earth, air, fire and water.”  Later, the Mashaf Res indicates that one or more of the sub-gods created Adam and Eve.  Thus, again, the book contains discrepancies in its account of the creation of man.

The First Flood. Curiously, the Mashaf Res acknowledges the “flood of Noah,” thus giving credence to the biblical account.  The book then proceeds to explain that there was a flood before the “flood of Noah.”  The book then states “The cause of the first flood was the mockery of those who were without, Jews, Christians and Moslems.” This statement is supremely bizarre given that at the time of Noah, neither Jew, Christians and Muslims did not yet exist.  Thus, the Mashaf Res provides another incoherent statement.

The Second Flood. The Mashaf Res indicates that the “second flood,” which presumably is also the “flood of Noah,” was caused by the Yezidis.  The book talks about a ship floating in the flood, but it doesn’t indicate that the Yezidis were in the ship.  There is no explanation for how the Yezidis survived the flood.  There is no explanation as to why the flood occurred.  There is no explanation as to how any non-Yezidis survived the flood.  We are thus left without any rational explanation of critical facts in connection with this event.

The 1,000 Year God Visits. The Mashaf Res indicates that every 1,000 years, one of the gods visits the earth “to establish rules, statutes, and laws, after which he returns to his abode.”  Of course, this statement prompts the question, “Where are the rules, statutes and laws from each of these gods?”  Further, the book says, “While below, he sojourns with us.”  This statement prompts the questions, “Where is the god right now?  Why can’t we see him?  Will he show us his laws?  Where is his kingdom?”  The marked absence of such a god and laws indicates that the statements are false.

The Kurdish Speaking God. The Mashaf Res indicates that the last god to visit spoke the Kurdish language and that the “also illuminated Mohammed.”  There is certainly a question as to why the Yezidis’ god would illuminate Mohammed—a future enemy.  Why would a pagan god illuminate the future founder of an Abrahamic faith?  A closely related question examines how effective the illumination was, given that Mohammed founded Islam, a religion that vehemently opposes Satan and the Yezidis.

The God Yezid. The Mashaf Res provides a bizarre account of the arrival of the god, Yezid.  In essence, Mohammed’s servant, Muawiya cut Mohammed’s head while shaving it and licked the blood, resulting in a curse from Mohammed, indicating that the descendants from the 2 men would be enemies.  Muawiya, to avoid the curse, vows never to marry, but he is forced to recant and marry an 80 year old woman when such is the only remedy for the break out of poison in Muawiya’s face as a result of scorpion bites.  Fortunately for Muawiya, the 80 year old woman became 25 years old “by the power of the great God.”  She and Muawiya had a child, the god Yezid. It is unclear how Yezid became a god.  There is no explanation other than the statement that he was a god.  It appears that Yezid Satan, because the Mashaf Res indicates that “the foreign sects” got it wrong when they concluded that Yezid “came from heaven, despised and driven out by the great God.  For this reason,” it continues “they blaspheme him [i.e., Yezid].  In this they have erred.”  Later, it indicates that the Yezidis are forbidden from pronouncing his name, “such as seitan (Satan).” Thus, it appears that Satan was miraculously born from natural parents (although earlier a god) and he is now a god (much like the story of Jesus, which pre-dates the story of Yezid by over 1,000 years).  A question, here, however, is why did Satan allow himself to be born of the blood-licking servant of Mohammed and an 80 year old woman?  Why didn’t he secure a more noble heritage?  There is no explanation.

The Image of Satan. The Mashaf Res states that “We know the form of his [Satan’s] person and his image.  It is the form of a cock which we possess.” Some might question, of all available creatures, having various degrees of power, why Satan would select a peacock as the form of his image.  Is the peacock not known for its ability to present the image of substance and greatness whereas, in reality, the creature is just a bird?

Diet. The Mashaf Res presents some dietary restrictions that, presumably, all law abiding Satanists would follow, including the following rules: (a) they cannot eat lettuce, because the Kurdish term for one of the Yezidi prophetesses sounds like the term for lettuce, (b) they don’t eat fish “in honor of Jonah the prophet” (again, giving credence to the biblical account of Jonah), (c) they don’t eat deer, because “deer are the sheep of one of our prophets,” (d) peacock is forbidden to a few special Yezidis, and (e) they are also forbidden from eating squash, although there is no explanation.  Are Satanists following these restrictions?

Hygiene. Not to be outdone by biblical and Islamic laws in the area of hygiene, the Mashaf Res provides the following basic restrictions: (a) “It is forbidden to pass water while standing,” (b) “It is forbidden . . . to dress up while sitting down, (c) “It is forbidden  . . . to go to the toilet room,” and (d) “It is forbidden . . . to take a bath according to the custom of the people.”  It further states, quite definitively, “Whoever does contrary to this is an infidel.”  The Mashaf Res states that “other sects, Jews, Christians, Moslems, and others, know not these things, because they dislike Melek Taus [i.e., Satan].  He, therefore, does not teach them, nor does he visit them.  But he dwelt among us; he delivered to us the doctrines, the rules, and the traditions, all of which have become an inheritance, handed down from father to son.  After this, Melek Taus returned to heaven.” Clearly, unlike the biblical and Islamic laws, these laws are not designed to improve the hygiene of the Yezidis.  Thus, it appears, that during his visit to earth, Satan delivered the above commandments. None of the commandments square with morality; they are a morality in themselves—malum prohibitum as opposed to malum in se.  Are Satanists following these restrictions?

Curious Song. According to the Mashaf Res, Yezid received “the standards” from the Yezidi kings (who received them from “Solomon the wise”).  Yezid composed 2 songs to be sung in connection with “the standards”—the meaning of one of which is “Hallelujah to the jealous God.”  This seems a bit odd inasmuch as Hallelujah is Hebrew and means, “Praise Yahweh.”  Why would Satan encourage his chosen people to sing praise to Yahweh?

Generosity at the Cemeteries. According to the Mashaf Res, “On the first day of the year, alms should be given at tombs where the souls of the dead lie.”  It later states that “women are to feed the poor and needy who pass by and have no food; this is to be done at the graves.”  Why are the Yezidis to be generous only in cemeteries, forcing the impoverished to come near death to receive assistance?

Tithing. The Mashaf Res indicates that a yearly tithe is apparently taken.  “When it comes to pass that the yearly tithe-gatherer finds that the people have not fully paid their tithes, he whips them till they become sick, and some even die.”  Further, “every Friday, a load of gifts is to be brought as an offering to an idol.”  What is the tithe for?  What is the offering for?  Who collects the offerings to idols?  Is the tithe being collected today from Satanists?

Marriage. According to the Mashaf Res, marriage in April is forbidden.  Also, “a layman may marry between the ages of ten and eighty; he may take for a wife one woman after another for a period of one year.”  With regard to the brides, “[o]n her arrival at the bridegroom’s house, he must hit her with a small stone in token of the fact that she must be under his authority.”  Also, Yezidi men are to refrain from sleeping with their wives on Tuesday nights and Thursday nights.  Are Satanists fully complying with these marital considerations?

Women. According to the Mashaf Res, a “young lady may be sold as an acre of land is sold.”  Also, if a man steals his neighbor’s wife, no dowry is required.  “Daughters may not inherit their father’s wealth.”  These statements having stated the Yezidi religious thoughts about women, is there room for women to be Satanists?  Is there room for them to act with any authority in the religion?  Do these propositions apply today?

THE POEM IN PRAISE OF ŠEIḪ ‘ADÎ

Peace Be unto Him

My understanding surrounds the truth of things,

And my truth is mixed up in me,

And the truth of my descent is set forth by itself,

And when it was known it was altogether in me.

And all that are in the universe are under me,

And all the habitable parts and deserts,

And everything created is under me,

And I am the ruling power preceding all that exists.

And I am he that spoke a true saying,

And I am the just judge and the ruler of the earth.

And I am he that men worship in my glory,

Coming to me and kissing my feet.

And I am he that spread over the heavens their height.

And I am he that cried in the beginning.

And I am he that of myself revealeth all things,

And I am he to whom came the book of good tidings

From my Lord, who burneth the mountains.

And I am he to whom all created men come

In obedience to kiss my feet.

I bring forth fruit from the first juice of early youth

By my presence, and turn toward me ray disciples.

And before this light the darkness of the morning cleared away.

I guide him that asketh for guidance.

I am he that caused Adam to dwell in Paradise

And Nimrod to inhabit a hot burning fire. p. 71

And I am he that guided Ahmed the just,

And let him into my path and way.

And I am he unto whom all creatures

Come for my good purposes and gifts.

And I am he that visited all the heights,

And goodness and charity proceed from my mercy.

And I am he that made all hearts to fear

My purpose, and they magnify the majesty and power of my awfulness.

And I am he to whom the destroying lion came

Raging, and I shouted against him. and he became stone.

And I am he to whom the serpent came,

And by my will I made him dust.

And I am he that struck the rock and made it tremble,

And made to burst from its sides the sweetest of waters. 36

And I am he that sent down the certain truth;

For me is the book that comforteth the oppressed.

And I am he that judged justly,

And when I judged it was my right

And I am he that made the springs 36 to give water,

Sweeter and pleasanter than all waters.

And I am he that caused it to appear in my mercy,

And by my power I called it the pure.

And I am he to whom the Lord of heaven hath said,

Thou art the just judge and Ruler of the earth.

And I am he that disclosed some of my wonders,

And some of my virtues are manifested in that which exists.

And I am he that caused the mountains to bow,

To move under me and at my will. 37

And I am he before whose majesty the wild beasts cried;

They turned to me worshiping, and kissed my feet.

And I am ‘Adî aš-Šâmî, the son of Musâfir. p. 72

Verily the All-Merciful has assigned unto me names,

The heavenly throne, and the seat, and the (seven) heavens, and the earth.

In the secret of my knowledge there is no God but me.

These things are subservient to my power.

O mine enemies, why do you deny me?

O men, deny me not, but submit.

In the day of judgment you will be happy in meeting me.

Who dies in my love, I will cast him

In the midst of Paradise, by my will and pleasure;

But he that dies unmindful of me

Will be thrown into torture in misery and affliction.

I say I am the only one and the exalted;

I create and make rich those whom I will.

Praise it to myself, for all things are by my will,

And the universe is lighted by some of my gifts.

I am the king that magnifies himself,

And all the riches of creation are at my bidding.

I have made known unto you, O people, some of my ways.

Who desireth me must forsake the world.

And I can also speak the true saying,

And the garden on high is for those who do my pleasure.

I sought the truth and became a confirming truth;

And by the like truth shall they, like myself, possess the highest place.

The Poem in Praise of Seih Adi

Adi as-Sami, the son of Musafir, also known as Seih Adi, was apparently a one time leader of the Yezidis. After his death, he was made a saint, and somehow, along the way, he purportedly became a god or was understood to have been a god, who, (quite curiously) like Jesus Christ, left his position with the god, Melek Taus (commonly known as Satan) and, apparently at the instruction of Melek Taus, came to Earth to convey truth to his people, the Yezidis.

In any event, this poem is ascribed to him. It states at line 57, “I am Adi as-Sami, the son of Musafir.” Some might say that the words of the poem are those of Melek Taus, speaking through Seih Adi. Regardless, the poem presents further discord with other Yezidi works. Readers are left to wonder what the real truth of this religion is, because it lacks synthesis.

Above the Great God. In “The Poem in Praise of Seih Adi,” the author states, “All that are in the universe are under me.” It later says, “I am the ruling power preceding all that exists.” Clearly “all” in such a statement must include that being otherwise described in the Mashaf Res as “the great God.” Yet, the Mashaf Res states that God created Melek Taus, who purportedly spoke through Seih Adi. Regardless of whether the author is Seih Adi or Melek Taus, clearly Melek Taus is subordinate to God, and Seih Adi is subordinate to Melek Taus. How can the one created be superior to its creator? Is the author lying to us? Why wouldn’t the author of the poem want to give the followers of Melek Taus the truth? Why in repeatedly saying “I am” is the author trying to copy the great “I am” of the Bible, the text of which substantially pre-dates this work? Why is this poem, wherein the author essentially presents himself as the one and only God, strikingly consistent with the biblical account of Satan in Isaiah, wherein it is written, “I will ascend above the highest clouds; I will make myself like the Most High”? (Isaiah 14:14).

Furthermore, the poem later states, “I am he to whom came the book of good tidings from my Lord . . .”; it also later states, “I am he to whom the Lord of Heaven hath said, ‘Thou art the just Judge and Ruler of the earth.” How does the one who is “the ruling power preceding all that exists” have a Lord who assigns him to the Earth? How can the statements of this poem be true when they are internally inconsistent?

Worship by All. In “The Poem in Praise of Seih Adi,” the author states, “I am he to whom all created men come to kiss my feet.” If this statement is true, then where is the author of the poem? Why are all people not kissing his feet? To the contrary, why are so many people and religions in this world vehemently opposed to any being that exalts itself above God? How can this statement be true, given that it fails to cohere with what we know historically and can observe today?

Further, the author later states, “O mine enemies, why do you deny me? O men, deny me not, but submit.” How can all created men be coming to kiss the author’s feet if there are enemies? How can these statements be true if they are inconsistent with each other?

All Creatures Coming for Good Gifts and Worshipping. In “The Poem in Praise of Seih Adi,” the author states, “I am he unto whom all creatures come for my good purposes and gifts.” He also states, “I am he before whose majesty the wild beasts cried; they turned to me worshiping, and kissed my feet.” Yet, the author also states, “I am he to whom the destroying lion came raging, and I shouted against him and he became stone”; he also states, “I am he to whom the serpent came, and by my will I made him dust.” If all creatures come to the author for “good purposes and gifts,” then why did the lion come raging, why did the author turn the lion into stone, and why did the author turn the serpent to dust? How can these statements be reconciled? How can these statements be true if they are incoherent with each other?

Curious and Secret Truth. In “The Poem in Praise of Seih Adi,” the author states, “my truth is mixed up in me”; he also states, “the truth of my descent is set forth by itself, and when it was known, it was altogether in me”; he also states, “In the secret of my knowledge, there is no god but me.” Clearly, the author is claiming to have truth, but, for whatever reason, he is not sharing it with his followers. Alternatively, he could be saying that he sees himself as God even though everyone else knows other truth. Thus, is the author delusional? Why would he not want to share truth with his followers?

Judgment. In “The Poem in Praise of Seih Adi,” the author states, “In the day of judgment, you will be happy in meeting me.” What judgment? Where in Yezidi literature are we informed of a day of judgment? Is this referring to the day of judgment in the Bible? If so, how can any of the statements in this poem be reconciled to the Bible?

Wealth. In “The Poem in Praise of Seih Adi,” the author states, “I create and make rich those whom I will.” While Bill Gates likely appreciates the author’s gesture, where are all of the rich Yezidi? Why didn’t the author make any of his own people rich?  Wouldn’t it make sense that the chosen people of Satan should enjoy the benefits of wealth associated with the source of wealth?  If his chosen people are not wealthy, is it reasonable to believe that the statement is true?

Self Praise. In “The Poem in Praise of Seih Adi,” the author states, “Praise be to myself.” Why does the author have to praise himself? Shouldn’t he allow his creation and creatures to do that for him? Must he be so destitute of praise from his creation and creatures that he must praise himself?

Speak the Truth. In “The Poem in Praise of Seih Adi,” the author states, “I can also speak the true saying.” Shouldn’t the ability to speak truth be self-evident from one who claims to have the truth?

Seek the Truth. In “The Poem in Praise of Seih Adi,” the author states, “I sought the truth.” Why is the “ruling power preceding all that exists” seeking the truth? Shouldn’t such a being be the truth? The statement is not coherent with logic and cannot, therefore, be true.

Principal Prayer of Yezidis

Among purported Yezidi sacred writings, as translated, is the “Principal Prayer of Yezidis.”  In this prayer, it is not exactly clear as to the recipient of the prayer, including its praise.  However, inasmuch as Melek Taus is supposed to be represented by the peacock, the statement, “Thou hast no wings, hast no feathers,” would suggest that the prayer is not offered to Melek Taus and is more likely offered to the Great God.  In this regard, it is interesting to note the statement, “Thou has created Jesus and Mary.”  Such would, indeed, be, in Yezidi belief (as reflected in other writings) the work of the Great God.  However, regardless of the recipient of the praise of the prayer, if it is celebratory that Jesus and Mary were created, why would the Yezidis not find provocative the statement of Jesus regarding himself: “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6); or the statement of Jesus regarding Satan (addressing an anti-Christ group): “You are of your father the Devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning and has not stood in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he tells a lie, he speaks from his own nature, because he is a liar and the father of liars” (John 8:44)?  Thus, “Principal Prayer of Yezidis,” by the very mention of Jesus in anything but a negative light causes it to be in stark contrast with other tenets of Yezidism.  The only thing consistent about the prayer is that, like the other secret Yezidi Satanic writings, it is inconsistent and incoherent with truth.

The Yezidi Devil Worshippers of Iraq

There have been many conflicting articles concerning the Yezidi Devil worshippers of Iraq. The Yezidi people originally came from Southern Iraq and migrated north to Mount Lalish. It is believed they are descendants of the Assyrians who sought refuge after the fall of Nineveh in 612 BCE. ¹ Eridu also known as Enkidu was an ancient city in Southern Iraq. This was Father Satan’s (Enki’s) city. The valley of Baten El Ghoul which is right over the buried ancient city is now known as “The Devil’s Hole.” “Belly of the Beast.” The Jordanians and many others consider it to be haunted. Demons have been seen by many who have spent the night there, mostly soldiers in bivouac (camps). Those who have been there for any length of time claim it has a powerful energy which RHP people label as “evil.”

Those who have spent the night there also claim the entire area is “bathed in a strange bluish grey light.” “Apparitions” are also seen. (The above information was taken from the book “Psychic Warrior” by David Moorehouse). The author was a US Army soldier who was hit in the head by a mortar shell while camping with his platoon in that valley and experienced psychic phenomena and abilities he never had before the incident. He was eventually assigned to the US Army Psychic Warfare Dept.

Iraq has many ancient artifacts and evidence of Satan. Mount Lalesh is near the ancient Assyrian city of Nineveh and along a three hundred mile stretch are the Ziarahs; the Seven Towers of Satan with the center tower on Mount Lalesh. The “Seven Towers or Power houses -a high white cone shaped structure with bright rays flashing from its pinnnacle.”²

Each tower is topped by a brilliant heliographic reflector, and was intended to serve as a power house from where a Satanic/Yezidi Priest could beam his will to influence events in the world.

The Yezidis have often been described as a secretive people who are not permitted to reveal their religion to outsiders, they keep their real beliefs hidden. Modern Yezidism has changed somewhat from the old ways due to outside interference. The Yezidi people have been severely persecuted and are very suspicious of outsiders. It is obvious their doctrines have been altered to conform to xian beliefs as in the Quret Al Yezid, Satan dictates he is a God and in other places it reads he is an archangel.

Satan dictated the Al Jilwah directly to Yezidi prophet Sheik Adi in the 12th century. The Al Jilwah is the most important doctrine in Satanism and every Satanist should be familiar with its teachings. I asked Satan if the Al Jilwah was from him and he confirmed it was, but stated that the Muslims altered some of the Yezidi doctrines.

The Yezidis have been victims of mass murder and genocide at the hands of others, mainly of those of the xian and muslim religions. In the year 1415 CE, Muslims desecrated and burned the tomb of Sheik Adi, ransacking his grave and removing his bones and burning them in front of the Yezidis. Some of the Yezidi multitude they took as prisoners and made slaves of them, others they murdered. Badr al-Din further ordered the execution of two hundred members of the sect and had Sheik Adi’s bones disinterred and burned.³

In 1892, Farik Omar Pasa invited several Yezidi Chiefs to Mosul. His agenda was to collect 20 years back taxes and to try to convert them to Islam. A few xians were present at the meeting. He began to tell them that if they would give up their Devil-worship, they would be rewarded with high place and rank, and would please the great Allah. When they refused to answer, Farik threw them into prison, marched on their village and slew about 500 of them. 4

Most Yezidis are illiterate and the few doctrines they have are passed down from generation to generation by word of mouth. In order to avoid persecution, the Yezidi people have purposely deceived outsiders concerning their beliefs and doctrines. This explains why there are so many conflicting accounts of their faith. The Yezidis have very few scriptures; in the Al-Jilwah, Satan instructs: I lead to the straight path without a book.
Melek Ta’us taught first by oral tradition and secondly by this book Al-Jilwe. 5

The Yezidi people are forbidden to say the name Shaitan. They refer to Satan as Melek Ta’us. Melek means  King. He is known as the Peacock Angel because of his beauty and pride. He is the Proud One and Ruler of the Earth. He is a God of light rather than of darkness and is concerned with the destinies of the world. 4 The Yezidis represent Satan by both the peacock and the snake. The peacock represents the beauty of the worshipped God and the snake represents his wisdom because he is both beautiful and wise. Their holy relic is the copper sanjak, an image of the peacock. 6

They play the flute and tambourine at their festivals and dance; a worship which led to every excess of debauchery and lust.7

The Jalwah and the Resh are the authentic holy scriptures of the Yezidis. The Yezidis not only acknowledge the loss of many copies of their scriptures but also Shaikh Hayder’s recording of the Book of Resh. The latter no doubt the Resh scripture was set down from memory. The Yezidis indeed avoid mentioning the very name Satan or any of his attributes; have kept themselves aloof for centuries and their books a mystery. They also are forbidden to wear the color blue as this is the sacred color of Satan. 8 The Yezidis sometimes use the name Ankar for Satan and the name Angar-Manyu for Ahriman in Zoroastrianism. 9 The Mishaf (Scripture) Resh (Black) the Yezidis believe was written by Shaikh Hasan al-Basri has been called Black because the word Satan is covered in it. Some believe it was the Quran with the words for Satan covered by wax. It measures 28 x 21 cm. and has a leather cover. The Yezidis also have a reputation for being adepts at black magick. 10
